Our Founder

Willie Heath co-founded Heath International Enterprises (HIE) in 2007. Mr. Heath personally witnessed the huge disparity with large and small businesses as it relates to writing and submitting proposals to the General Service Administration for the purpose of entering the government marketplace. Mr. Heath recognized there was an enormous potential for consulting, training and educating the private sector on how to do business with the federal government. Mr. Heath decided that providing information using the internet as a vehicle, would greatly enhance the opportunity for the business community to aggressively take part in the lucrative market provided by federal agencies. Mr. Heath launched hieinc.net in 2008 and began developing training materials that would assist corporations with writing and submitting proposals that include all of the compliance components to successfully win contracts.

Willie has poured all of his experience gained in working in various government positions and negotiating many government contracts into building a comprehensive online training and consultation web site. Prior to 2007, Mr. Heath was the Regional Director of the General Services Administration, Regional Small Business Program, which is the largest purchasing arm of the Civilian Agencies. The GSA is a reimbursable agency that receives most of their funding by providing services to Civilian Agengies and the Department of Defense.

In the late 1990’s, Willie began to travel the country to host seminars on topics such as "How To Do Business With The Government". Based on the success of his seminars, Mr. Heath knew one day he would replicate his seminars online and create permanent, state-of-the-art training and classroom materials that could be used to assist corporations with establishing and maintaining a presence within the government marketplace. In speaking with the Business Community, Willie recognized that an untapped market existed for training companies in the nuances of doing business with the federal government.
